Lagom cakes, lovely moments
CAKE ME is the cake atelier of cakeitlagom.sopshub.com. We print edible fondant circles — the same design in a cake size and a cupcake size — so that a home baker can make a celebration cake in minutes, not hours.
One design, two sizes
Every design starts as a watercolor illustration. It is printed with edible ink on a thin circle of fondant: Ø 20 cm for the main cake and Ø 5–6 cm for cupcakes. Place the circle on freshly iced buttercream or fondant, smooth gently from the centre out, and it becomes part of the cake.
Why lagom
Lagom is Swedish for "just the right amount" — enough effort to feel proud, not so much that the fun disappears. Everything we ship is made to order in small batches in Malmö and sent flat, protected and ready to use.
Behind the counter
The shop runs on this machine in the corner: a Medusa backend, Postgres and Redis, all pinned by Nix and reachable through a Cloudflare tunnel. The storefront you are reading is a statically built Astro site on Cloudflare Pages. Even the infrastructure is lagom.
